I had 4 miles on mine when I drove it off the lot. When I purchase a car, I always request that it have less than 10 miles, or I won't buy it. It has seemed to work so far.

Imagine if they had to drive all of the cars they sold 58MILES before they delivered them to customers!!!

They would need full time employment to do this. Nonsence man, dont take this shit. You are buying a NEW car u know...

Mine had 8 miles on it at delivery. Unfortunately, my Civic Si had 300 miles on it at time of pick up. It had been used for test drives, so I got $3000 off and free extended warranty, they'll even cover my car under warranty with my modifications. Fifty miles on an S2000 and I'd ask for something extra.

I had to order mine as the dealer didn't have the color I wanted in stock. I got it in writing among other things that the car is not to have over 30 miles on it when I receive it. This seems to work well if you have to order a car.

First of all I would never buy an S2000 off of the lot. I would always have it special ordered.

Second of all it would have to have below 10 miles on it. I would walk away from it if it. That would really bother me.

Third of all if the car was test driven it means that it was driven fast by someone. Which means that it was not broke in right. I know people who go in and test drive cars just to take them for a joyride and they really beat the crap out of them.

My first s2k had 13 miles on it and had just come off the truck. Still had all the plastic on it and the spacers in the springs.

My current s2k had 34 miles on it. It still had plastic on it, but the spacers had been removed, so I assume it had been driven some at the dealership. I don't think they could really hurt it in 20 miles of driving though unless they were really trying.

Correct.

My vehicle had 8 miles (before I tested it & bought it). Even at 8 I have to wonder if the piston rings were ruined by someone... oh well

6 miles when I picked it up and that was because the salesman took it to fill it up.
