Misfiring?
2001
100xxxmi
Daily driven, bolt-ons (intake, exhaust, TP, 2002 ecu)
My car is usually a daily driver, but I'm at the Infantry School and in the field most of the week... so now it's a weekend car. I started it up today without issue, and started driving with AC on. I almost stalled, and that's when the problems began. Now it sounds like it has the lobe of a muscle car, it shakes like a muscle car, but it has the power of a Geo Metro. I'm throwing a code which says #3 Misfire. I thought it might be bad gas, I was really low (two bars) so I filled it up.
I'm a little delirious from several days with very little sleep, lots of shooting and moving, I don't feel like conducting an exhaustive search to research my problem. Please help me with some possible courses of action, I would really appreciate it. I'm going to try to get more than three hours of sleep for the first time this week, tomorrow I plan on pulling the spark plug and seeing if it's damaged, the coil did not have any burn marks or anything else.
Thank you,
Herrick
