Earlier it sounded like you did want to lose it because of the accident that will appear on the vehicle's history report.

Either way, glad that everything will work out for you.
I figured I would keep the car for a while anyway and I could always explain what happened in the accident to the future buyer.

as long as you didn't have any frame damage, I wouldn't consider it to be too big a deal. I messed up the bumper, hood, headliht, and fender (slight damage at the intersection of these) and it was fixed nicely...along with an AP2 front bumper).

You're always going to find a buyer that insists on no damage and has a closed mind about it, though.

Car is not totalled, turns out the panels haven't even shifted!
I guess that's a bit of good news for me, I love this car and hated the thought of losing it!
That's good, hopefully you'll have it good as new in no time.

If you are looking to get rid of that OEM AP2 rear, let me know!

make sure you fully document the damage including tons of pics. have the body shop take pics as they proceed, showing the frame beneath panels they remove. This should ease the mind of prospective buyer (who obviously doesn't mind too much about the accident) so they know everything was purely cosmetic.

Basically I was on a road with 4 lanes, 2 going in each direction.

I was on the left lane going north, there was a mustang going in the same direction going in the right lane. The lady turned left from the right lane trying to get in to the post office, my response was braking, the car slided, I lost control, I flew over a curb and hit a tree!

The lady wrote down a confession on a paper saying that it was her fault and she did not see my car and she turned from the wrong lane.

The car is less than a month old so I'm hoping they total it, I took it to a body shop that told me there is some frame damage, alot of the car did shift. I'll try to get some HI-RES pictures tomorrow when I meet the adjuster
that sucks...my buddy let his friend drive his car up in the canyons here in Socal...the guy had just driven from San Fran and wasnt totally clear...long story short the traction control wasnt working due to a recent steering wheel mod. the car slide, hit the the embankment and flipped end over end over the cliff about 8 times, landed on its side. what stopped it from rolling more was some bush and a boulder. the car looked like it was slammed on every side with a wrecking ball. there wasnt an untouched panel on the car except for the fuel door. The guy got out without a scratch. He was sore a for a couple days following. My friend had not even made the first payment yet. to make matters worse, some other racers up in the canyon looted what they could from the wreckage. they stole the AEM intake, shift knob, and tryed to get the testpipe off it. punks....

they may total it, but i hope you got gap insurance just incase the insurance company tries to jip you. my friend got stuck with about $2k after the insure was done.
