ProV1 makes a good point though. If "we're" paying for it, the recommended interval is 3k. If "they're" paying for it, it's 15k. Amazing how that works!

My old E46s ('00 328Ci and '01 330i) called for the 15k mile oil change interval (actual mileage depended on one's driving behavior). An oil change required 5 quarts if I recalled correctly.
