I have the problem as well. '02. Happens mostly in the colder weather, haven't seen it in a while now.

There is still a TSB on it (01-008?), and I'm having mine fixed at my next service.

Mine began NOT working correctly a month ago. A hassle and considering I have a pair of Craft Square mirrors needing to be put on the car, I might just have 'em do the TSB on the car because it involves removing the door panel.

Funny. My '02 (11 months, 5000 mi) just started doing this too a few weeks ago. Minor annoyance but it still sucks. I guess I'll wait a bit to see if it goes back to normal before wasting another day scheduling a service appointment.

Mine does this intermittently. It has happened 3 or 4 times since Mar. 02. It is currently working okay.

It is a know issues and there is a TSB to have it repaired. I have had it repaired twice so far. It seams that water is a the cause for our problems. The water damages the regulator that controls this function. The only fix (Honda's Fix) is to have the whole motor assembly replaced (the regulator is part of this).

i just started having this problem.. i bought my02 a year ago.. i hadn't had any problem with this until just the last week or two. I figured the motor went. so do you think i can get a dealer to replace with no charge? my warranty is up.. I'm thinking if this was a recall, then they may do it for free.

you should be able to get them to do it for free. It is just a bad relay, motor is fine.
