If I'm paying for most of it, how come I can't choose my own car then?
"Most" != "all"

You could always hold your breath...

Based on what ive read...Im pretty sure your not paying for shiiieet. If you are then, it does not change the fact that you still live under her roof. In the end its not gonna be your choice, so learn to deal. Shes probably right anyways. I can almost guarantee you're going to get in an accident within the first year of driving like I did with my s2k. So save yourself a few bucks by getting a manual economy car and then when and if you grow some balls... go for the s2k. In conclusion, you remind me much of myself except for the fact that i still have mine and you will probably never have yours.

hey man my mom hated and my dad loved that I bought my '06 gsxr 600 that she threatened to not pay off my S like they were suposed to. I've paid every cent for my car and insurance and same on my bike. $19,000 is persuasion enough so my bike is for sale. I'll get another later when insurance isn't $170 a month

All in all I'm glad that I paid 100% of what the car costs. I feel much better driving it around and I enjoy the car that much more because I know I earned it.

For most of us, if you are responsible enough to pay for an S2K, you are responsible enough to own one.
