(referring to 5th gen Preludes)

I think the Preludes are great beginner cars, for responsible people. I'll be the first to say that Preludes are not fast cars, but you can definitely hurt yourself as with any car. It's pretty forgiving with mistakes, and it LOOKS SEXY!

My dads 42 and drives a mustang.....hes pretty cool with me gettin one, i just gotta sell the 240..

not really bashing you, if you're responsible and your parents rewarded you thats great.

i'm just saying that giving your kids things 'just because you can afford to' doesn't teach them the value of working hard to earn such things, and it can be a recipe for disaster if they can't handle the responsibility and/or don't respect the dangers associated with such high end toys.

No, I didn't mean the stick part would be hard to learn. The combo of RWD, lightweight, and decent power will make for some nasty surprises if you are shifting mid-corner or crappy with a clutch. I agree with you though, my first stick was a Honda, but it only had about 95 whp
