For people who have replaced AP2 projector lenses with AP1, do the lenses pull straight out, or do I have to bake the housings? I am interested in polishing the ripples.
you either have to use a heat gun or carefully use your oven

do at your own risk and just don't be stupid

then you can take out the projector once the housing is apart

[QUOTE=Slick 87,Dec 17 2010, 10:05 AM] I have ap1 retrofitted lights in my Accord, and I agree, they are amazing.

That was the only thing I was slightly dissapointed with regarding my ap2. The lights were not as good as I was expecting (used to ap1's on my accord) and I test drove everyone during the day.

So the sharpness of the cutoff is what dictates the quality? Are there different part numbers for 00-01 and 02-03 headlights?
sharpness doesn't mean you have brighter output. Sharpness just has a much larger "WOW" effect for 2 reasons 1.) when you see your sharp cutoff bouncing around on the trees and other cars. And 2.) oncoming cars see your oncoming headlights as sharp flashes (flicker) of white and blue whereas with a soft fresnel cutoff line they perceive your oncoming lights as just solid bluish white with almost no "flicker".

Yes, 00-01 projectors were slightly different. I believe the difference is mostly in the shield as the clear lenses and projector bowls were the same from '00-'03

For some reason mine done line up right...... any idea how to fix this?
As stated before, if set correctly they don't appear to line up. See the photo posted above? That's normal.
