Good luck...I think I agree with those who said sell/ship your stuff and drive the S. Much less hassle, in addition to being cheaper.

How much extra is the trailer to tow the car behind the rental truck? You might find some really good one way airfares that may be cheaper than the cost of the trailer. Southwest has a $116 one-way fare from Orlando to Long Island.

Sorry...drive the truck down without the trailer+car. Fly back to get the car and drive it to FL. Or get a buddy to drive the car down behind the truck and put him on a plane home.

Well the trailer seems to be the cheapest part of it only like $350 or so for the trailer so between flight and gas and time I think a flatbed trailer would be better than going back to bring the car back.
Found a ryder mini van for only $25 a day but only includes 500 miles so after that it is $.89 a mile which would be like another $700 at least plus gas and all. Doubt I would be able to tow my car behind it either.
Unfortunately it is looking like I will have to sell all my crap haha. Pain in the ass to buy everything again I would think but would be nice to be able to just drive my car down and ship some clothes and small things to myself and just go out and buy a new tv and grill and bed and stuff.

Well I decided to just sell everything I own instead haha. Except of course my S2000. Gonna just drive down in that with all my clothes shoved places. Ship a few things and buy the rest when I get down there.
S2guru where in FL you moving to?
