Mp3/Ipod/...
So... Where do ya'll put your mp3 players? Cut holder, coin holder someplace else? Do you just replace the HU? I'm just curious because I know there's not a whole lot of room to play around with. Anyways I'ved searched like and yet still come up with posts of witch don't talk about what I'm looking for. Anyways thanks in advance for the input.
In my AP1, I have my 2nd gen iPod nano sitting in the coin tray, with the aux cable coming out on the passenger side, then tucking directly underneath the leather in the console and then behind my hu. It's extremely clean and stelathy, besides the iPod being pink. It only works perfectly if it's a 1st or 2nd gen nano, though; my arm can rest on the console and nothing is protruding.
I have a head unit that controls my iPod. When I first installed it and was lazy I just ran the wire out to the passenger side and put the iPod in the little cargo net in the passenger foot well.
After I got over my laziness, I ran the wire back to my 'glove box' between the seats and put it under the elastic strap. This way I can lock it and not have to worry about putting the top up at every little stop. Oh wait, I'm still lazy and it's still in the passenger foot well...but one day I will run it to the glove box

I love the tray at the passengers knees on my 2006- ran an aux-in wire through the side of it and the MP3 players sits in it quite nicely(hidden from view). For older cars not sure what I would do.
