i switch it to km with people who are new to the s and they trip when they think im doing like 130 on the highway.

I wanted to "look cool" with mph on my car, but it won't let me

It actually makes sense, because one cannot quite drive a car from Japan to other countries. Whereas in most other countries, you do need mph/kph toggle for practical purposes (i.e. you need km/h in Canada, but need mph in US)

 

i cant wait till the next time i drive to canada so i can switch it to km/h with a purpose lol

I used to drive in km/h when I was in NY hahaha ... just to feel "JDM" hahhah

 

although i did do it once to scare a passenger to make her think we were going insanely fast

 

For AP1 and AP2 when you switch from MPH to Km/h it also switches the mileage.
