I don't know about the non-OEM hard tops. But the OEM one has a liner and it was noticeably quieter than the soft top.

I just love the way they look. Makes the car look a lot sleeker. Regardless of brand.

Im the opposite, one of the reasons I bought the S was because it is a convertible. If I wanted a solid roof car I would have purchased a different car. But thats me.
