Default Muzmat floormats for 2002 S2K

Has anyone ordered floormats from muzmat for a 2002 model? Mine arrived this week. I ran into a couple of problems:

- I ordered mats with eyelets to fit the 2 anchor posts in the driver side floorpan. The driver side mat arrived with 1 eyelet. It does not even go over the anchor post; it's about 1 inch offset.
- Both mats are really tight; there is no play side to side (not really a big deal, I was just wondering if this is normal)

I've just contacted muzmat, but I wanted to know of any experience with 2002 models. Did they add an extra anchor post this year? Did they move the position of the outside anchor post?

Thanks!

I received my mats about 3 weeks ago, it came with 2 eyelets on the driver's side only. It was a tight fit and I mentioned to Muz that it really hugged the left side more so than the right (console) side. Maybe my eyelets were drilled a bit more left than the '02 that Muz measured from. I don't know. Hope this helps. Oh, I bought the more expensive luxury mats but that shouldn't make a difference with the location of the two eyelet holes.

Thanks for the info. Do you have a 2002 model? Do you know if the eyelets (number, position) have changed since 2001? I noted on my order to Muzmat that I had a 2002. Thanks in advance.

Yes I have an '02. I have no idea where the pre-'02 single eyelet hole is located.
I do know that the eyelets shift around a bit and my mat still hugs the left side more.

2000 and 2001 S2000's have one eyelet hole, on the bottom left corner of the mat.

they need to fit tight to keep them from moving around...
(side to side)
after they are a bit older they start curling up at the sides, so you have to uncurl them- still much better than the honda mats
