hell no its not going to be discontinued in 04, that salesman is crazy! millions spent to make the new motor and design, Honda would be very stupid to discontinue it anytime soon
the s2000 will be around for a long time to come, 2010 is my prediction of when it will discontinue...

Well the Lude is the cloest thing to an S2000 on Honda lots now.

THe Civic Si isn't, the Accord coupe isn't...

But you are right in the US anyhow it was too expensive, the Type Sh was around $27k. It was a market leader at the time but the 90s were the birth of king SUV. If the Prelude were to ever return it would have to be a RWD or AWD car at this point. Most people I talked to were of the opinion that the Integra would have been better marketed as a Honda, the Prelude as an Acura.

I dont own an S2k (wish I did) but when I got my car I test drove an RSX Type S and a Prelude (5th gen) and the Prelude was a nicer car in terms of ride quality IMHO.

I'm trying real hard to not be a Prelude fangrrl (even though I am)

Talk about a blast from the past. At least we have the hindsight now to know that 2006 was truly the last year of the S2000. My dealer told me so.
