First of all, wasn't that difficult to do, but just takes time. I did take off the bumper. Probably didn't have to, but it was easy enough to do and it seemed easier cutting the hole. Took me about 3 hours to do everything.
Concerning the AEM CAI and Comptech Upper Strut Bar.....IT FITS!
My install also includes the optional by-pass valve.
Though I don't think every fit well, I believe I have to cut the second piece shorter to accomodate the by-pass valve. I'm not even sure if the by-pass valve is suppose to be there? Seems kinda useless being down there, where water can easily rise up to. I'm going to call AEM tomorrow to find out for sure!
I have to clean it up more this weekend to make things fit better.
As far as power and noise... I believe the other threads pretty much covers it.

Another thing is, I didn't know that you're suppose to leave off the bottom center cover? Otherwise, there isn't any room for the pipe to run to the front side. Is this true? Or you're suppose to put the bottom center piece back on somehow?

Here's the parts pic including the optional by-pass valve.

Pic with everything installed....notice the by-pass valve in between the two pipes. Now I have 3 shades of red in the engine bay!

Pic of the gap between the Comptech USB and top of AEM pipe. There's probably about 2-3mm gap. The bar actually is resting on part of the coupler between the pipe and TB.

Parts taken out and left out. The bottom piece is the bottom center cover.

I may change my intake later! I know that Comptech now has a CAI that they are going to debute at SEMA. If that proves to be a better fit, no worries about water ingestion and less noise; I may opt for that in a couple weeks (when it goes on sale)!

Wow! That red looks really nice. I got the silver and it is fairly dull.

I put the center undertray back on. I had to do some cutting to get it to fit, but figured that it was necessary for airflow reasons.

That clearance is really tight. I can't believe you got the CAI to fit under that.

The red piping does look really nice and goes well with the STB color.

One warning. It is true that you have about a few mm worth of clearance but when you start to corner, the STB will rub against the CAI. I have the Injen CAI with the Neuspeed STB and I had about the same clearance as yourself. After one day of driving (with lots of cornering), the STB ate into the CAI. It basically removed a chunk of the polish. I even tried to put some material to act as a buffer between the two, but metal to metal rubbing ate right through the material and went straight to the CAI again. Just be careful, alright? Latez!

Mark Digrappa's new billet STB, due out soon, will solve these problems. It will fit all the major CAIs and provide more stiffness that the other STBs. And, of course, it will be made to Mark's incredible standards of quality.

Do you have a pic of the hole you had to cut or did you even have to cut a hole?

Also do you have a picture from the bottom of the car to show the filter position? I am trying to figure out whether or not to get the bypass(if it is even needed?) Due to a shorter pipe without the bypass, it seems very unlikely that IF I can keep the lower center cover I run more risk of hydro lock than I do with stock air box.

This is why I was hoping you had a couple of additional pics of filter location.
