Wow, I am real sorry to hear what happened.

I would ACT FAST if I were you, I used to be a manager at UHAUL 4 years ago, and when damaged trucks like that come in....We would just spray paint it away like it never happened....hope you find the sucker that did this too you!

Sorry to say as well that I don't feel so bad now for my situation now that I have heard of your unfortunate one

Wow, What a Jerk! I would be really heated if I was in your place(I'm sure you are too)

I hope they find this person, as there is no reason ever for a person to act in such a way! I hope they get whats coming to them!

Good luck with the hunt and all that you have to go through!

Sorry to hear your accident

Though, good news is, your car only has "skin" damages ... so everything should be fix-able (is there such a word?)

Call your local Uhaul places and ask if anyone turned in a vehicle that has damages to the front end...I'm sure the Uhaul had some damages too...

peace
that's a good idea, make sure a cop calls, because people will just lie. if you can remember anything about the truck (IE year, make, model) will help.

just rememebr some uhauls come from different states or are sold when they are too old.

look for camera around that might have caught something, good luck

This was my experiance with a hit and run this spring. I came home and found my sons Civic that was parked in front of the house with a big crease in the side and blue paint residue. Went to all the neighbors and checked all the blue cars for damage, nothing. Then a neighbor came over and said a pizza delivery car was in the area at about the time it happened. We went down to the pizza place, and sure as hell there's a Camaro in there with bumper damage and white Civic paint on it. I thought that would be it, call the cops, case closed. NO WAY. The cops said there was nothing they could do to the guy without any eye witnesses. The cops were also cool and said the kid wouldn't know that, so they'd talk to him. Sure enough he fessed up, and eventually my insurance company paid up. The lesson I got from the whole experience was that hit and run DOES pay if no one sees you do it. Sad but true.
