yup, it's slipping. when i drove home today, i was in 6th gear on the highway, and i stepped on it trying to pass someone, and the rpm jumped to around 6k but i didn't move. i then proceeded to drive home with a very conservative right foot, and keeping it under 4k.

time for a new clutch! ...when i get paid next week
