The only thing that puzzled me with the audio controls was why the audio mode button was so big, it was only when I saw pictures of the dashboard several weeks later that I noticed it was to match the symmetry of the temperature controls on the opposite side of the wheel. Which is a good thing if you ask me. Like most S2000 owners, I like the simplicity of the dashboard layout, you don't see buttons strewn all over the dash and once the radio cover is down it gives the entire dashboard a clean look.

The Layout is symetrical and is all within reach of the steering wheel. Once you have learned them, they can be used without taking you hands off the wheel (for the most part) or your eyes off the road.
