My first time....
100 in the S isn't so bad. I think my first time doing 100 was in a '90 Chrysler New Yorker, and it wasn't too skittish. Most recently hit 1xx in a Saturn Vue. Didn't stay there long though as that was scary

It depends on if we're speaking about just the S or other cars or just land-speed in general. (In that case I believe my first go above 100 might have been in a train.... haha, obviously different feeling than in the S.) My first go to a 100 in the S was a long time ago on an open country road in the spring... visibility was 100%, no obstructions, no people, no cars, etc.
But other than the S... if you're ever on a driving trip out west, it is fairly easy to hit 100 consistently. There are places in the middle-of-no-where, where it is possible to travel at such speeds (or at least 90s) for extended times without seeing any other cars, animals, etc.

The first time I hit 100mph, I was actually shooting for 130mph, and went to 140mph in my prelude.
then i hit 160mph on my Evo on 1-20.
you start going that fast, you sort of forget about everything in your life.

My first new car was a '72 Opel 1900 Manta. It did 115 (down hill) comfortably.
An early 80s accord hatch seemed to run better and better as the speed rose. I drove it over 100 numerous times on trips down I95 in Florida.
All this was pre-55 when speed limits in TX and FL interstates were 85MPH and people went 90-95 just cruising along.
On an early Sunday morning I took a 99 Civic Si up to 145 VERY briefly. That was about the rev limit...supercharger was able to overcome drag.
We were driving home from my in-laws (Orlando to MS). My wife was driving and she was in a hurry. We rented a Mazda6 and my wife managed to average close to 100 on the stretch from Tallahassee to Pensacola!
I really don't recommend this kind of speed on public highways! The car and driver may be capable at these speeds but given the differential in speed with other cars driving at or near the posted limit things can go very wrong very fast.

Hit 145 in the ol celica, took quiet some time to make it from 135-145 though. wow, i have probably been over 100mph umm, 500 times at least? idk, probably more. I wasn't a responsible teenager and i can say im lucky to be here now and much wiser after putting some years between now and teen years.
