100 is nothing to be that excited about.

I hit about 100 every time I go down the freeway onramp.
...the fun thing is that most of those onramps have 35 or 40mph caution speeds

First time in any car: I borrowed my sister's Maxima for my Jr. Prom. On the way home (after dropping off my date), I hit 120.

First time in the S2000: I had owned the car 6 weeks. I hit ~125mph, then I lost control on an S-curve, jumped the curb and hit a retaining wall. $21K repair bill. My insurance company hated me.

Pretty sure my first time was a street race, I blew away some doctor in his new 911 back when my firebird was stock. I had to hold it out to 125ish to get buy him a couple lengths becuase i started off behind him. Anyway the light directly ahead turned red on us. His 911 stopped on a dime, when i changed lanes it caused the crappy rubber brake houses in my front brakes to kink rendering them useless and i had to use ridiculouse downshifts and the ebrake to finally stop. I upgraded to steele brake lines that weekend.
Havent done it in the s yet. Maybey this weekend.

When I was up in Houston a few weeks ago for the Lone Star BBQ meet there were about 6 of us, including an STi and G35 doing 135-140 range for a while after the meet. Fastest I've been in the S.

I haven't gone faster than 120 mph in my S2000 and I only did that once. I've passed 100 mph a few times (maybe five) but it's really a pointless speed. You can lose the car and license at that point, plus it doesn't take much to lose control either - a deer stepping out, a bad pothole, or debris on the road.

I'll keep it to the track for those kinds of speed.

I did hit an indicated 205 kph (126 mph) in my Acura 1.6EL on a hill back when I lived in Canada. That's something like 20 kph faster than the owner's manual says it will go.

The first time I hit 100mph, I was actually shooting for 130mph, and went to 140mph in my prelude.

then i hit 160mph on my Evo on 1-20.

you start going that fast, you sort of forget about everything in your life.
My point exactly.........its like euphoria has been reached...nothing but u and the road
