Default My S2000 badge is backwards

on one side it says 2000s instead of s2000, dont know why... carfax is clean, ive had it looked over and there's not a hint of damage or replacement of the panel

Anyway, it drives me crazy. Thing is, i purchased some 3m double sided tape but It doesn't look right, it's VERY thick and not sticky at all, no way it will hold even a piece of paper in place much less the badge.... is there more than one kind? can someone show me a pic of the type I need to get?

Unfortunately, carfax is not perfect. More than likely that panel was painted at some point and the emblem was removed then replaced backwards.

well I'm not too concerned about how it happened, my only concern is getting it back the right way without it coming off. The 3M double-sided tape I purchased is seriously not even strong enough to hold two sheets of paper together with the slightest amount of pulling (yes, i tried it).... does 3m make different types of double-sided tape? The one I got can't possibly be the proper one to use.

Go to local parts store. There is actually an "Emblem" tape/adhesive.

Or spend a few bucks and get another set of badges.

Pick yourself up some 3m attachment tape. Part # 06384. You will only need about 6 to 8 inches. Its a 5 yard roll, but its got all kinds of garage/automotive/household uses.
