definitely trying to hot wire the car it looks like...yeah, too nice of a car to not carry insurance though...people that dont carry insurance and then hit someone is the reason all our insurance premiums are so high in the first place. Good luck with repairing your car though...and call Geico man..

Wow, I'm going to chime in here and say maybe the OP meant he doesn't have full coverage and only has liability?

This is what I thought at first too. I could be wrong and reserve the right to add my $.02 about the stupidity of this if no insurance at all is the case.

To the OP, sucks to hear about luck with the S. I'd get an aftermarket alarm and move.

There is an OEM alarm option but I haven't heard great things about it. All of us have a panic button on the keys but I don't think we have a full alarm. I think we have some anti theft features but I'm not sure what they all are.

My MY07 didn't come equipped with an alarm, and I still don't have an alarm because I don't drive the car much anyway and it stays parked in my garage.

Anyway, just as everyone else has been asking, "Where do you live? Why don't you have insurance?"

I'll show you some sympathy and understanding by suggesting that if you can't pay for the S2K's insurance, it's about time you might as well sell it and buy a new car. Why would you risk getting it ****ed up even more by keeping it?
I honestly feel bad for you, good sir, and I'll admit that if I were in your place, I would've moved a looooooong time ago. I'm sure it's not that easy to pack things up and leave, but anything is possible.

I'll admit not everyone lives in a house, so not everyone has a garage, but the insurance part doesn't make any sense.

There is a very good chance that the same ppl who took your seat did this. Cause they know how to get to your car easily. I do agree with the fact that they might have tried to take to whole car but failed to get it started and left. Personally if you want to take the while car, just put it in neutral and tow it away. Anyway as of right now, you should tow it to any mechanic and so they can fix it. I think they might have cut the wrong wire so the immobilizer kicked and it's not starting your car.

I think, despite the fact of all this happened, you are lucky. Imagine if they did went off with your car. No insurance, no car, try getting that back.

Recommendation: 1 - call police. 2 - get coverage. 3 - fix car. 4 - get your ass out of there.

Good luck.

Hey I know everybody has been asking me about the insurance, i completely agree with you. I have had insurance on my own name recently and just recently moved back in at my parents house and decided to get under my dad's policy because it would be cheaper that way. However that has not taken effect now and i called both my old insurance company and the new one that i am signing up with and they both denied coverage.

Can anybody tell by the looking at the pictures what parts are missing and what are damaged. I know obviously the part in which you stick your key in is gone but if anything else is damaged or missing too, not so sure.

Oh and i live in south florida fort lauderdale area.
