Dude believe me when i say..."they'll be back to try again." So if i were u i'd invest in a gun, then when they come back an u catch them in the act...fill them with bullets, i'm from tx, it's legal so that's what i'd do. Don't know the gun laws in florida. But u should definitly look it up. I love my s2k way too much to have some losers take it away from me....i'd mess their world up for good

Far better answer than the previous poster.

No sense killing anyone over property. Some people seem to think deadly force is called for in too many situations. I don't care what the local laws are, when you are standing over the dead body of some stupid thief kid, you won't be celebrating unless you are a sociopath. In many states, in addition to the personal guilt, you'd also be facing a pretty lengthy prison term if you were unable to provided an affirmative defense that you legitimately feared for your life.

Someone steals my car, I'll call the insurance company. They can have anything in the damned house. I'll be in a room with the cops on the phone and my 870 in my lap. Someone tries to harm my family, I'll respond with overwhelming force until they are no longer a threat or I am dead.

Easier to find a safe place to park and get some insurance rather than try to engage in violence.

Whats the use in sitting here and flaming him for not having insurance. Things happen get over it, instead of sitting here and criticizing him for not having insurance why don't you guys try to help him figure out what he needs to get to fix the car instead. Whats happening to this community.

From what i can tell, the PCB board is broken? Can you confirm?

If it is, see if you can unclip it from the harness and take it in to a dealer and get your prices quoted for a new ignition assembly and that board if its broken.

Cant tell if anything else looks to be missing, go under and start connecting the connectors(should be close to impossible to hook the wrong ones). Find something cut, either fix it yourself, or make note of it and take it in.

Ignition is gonna cost you the most here(if you just do a patch on the roof) because i can almost guarantee your gonna have to get new keys also.

+1 for botched auto thief

+1 for you're an ass - get insurance

+1 for start looking for another place to park your car

+1 for cheap living = car damage

oh and to others - it's illegal to DRIVE without insurance. i doubt the law is the same for a car parked...

+1 find a new car.

/don't mean to be mean
//telling it how it is bro - g/l with the repairs

p.s. to amik - screw that. i bought my S when i got back from Iraq and finished paying it off while in Afghanistan. u try to steal my S: u'r trying to steal my soul and i'm going to protect myself, and my property i've fought for and earned.
/not a huge gun guy but i do believe people would think twice if they knew others were armed and allowed to defend their s#it
