i didnt post to try and show off it, was because people like looking at these things. i dont care if i have the highest peak or most torque. i never will because im not willing to throw that much money at it. i just do what i like and be glad that i can even own a car like this.
as for the intake/exhaust combo, they are probably just fine power-price wise. what would i get for the extra $1k of a j's or t1r? about 2 horsepower and bragging rights. now dont get me wrong i intend to change it eventually but for what i paid for the apex it'll do for now. plus its made well. the comptech i paid twice as much for on my last car started falling apart after 30k.
im sure there could have been a alot of factors contributing to numbers. maybe my plugs were messed up, maybe i need a valve adjustment, maybe the car wasnt happy after the twelfth pull ... who knows
