i am looking for advice and have heard different things, so i thought i'm gonna ask other MY04 fellow owners, did you have your first oil change at 3750 miles? i don't mean to skimp on this. according to the manual my driving habits fall under normal conditions. i vtec 6 or 7 times a day and also the oil level is fine. thanks.

 

i don't own a 04, but these motors are relatively the same. anyways, i recommend 3750 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first. after that, change the oil with conventional oil every 3 months or 3000 miles, whichever comes first.
