read the f$#% manual.

Funny, a couple years ago I was test-driving a used 01... at an Infiniti dealer... I didn't know what VTEC was, but had read that it "kicked in" after 6000rpm. Pushed the cold car up to 6000rpm... and grrrraaackkkk! Hit the cold rev limiter. I was like "WTF was that?"

The salesman had no clue about the limiter either and couldn't explain what had happened... so I didn't buy the car.

Wasn't until the following year after some S2ki.com-ing did I pick up my Honda... careful to warm up to proper oil temps before opening the nasty cams....
