Default MY06 exhaust solution?

I've been doing some research and talking with a few people about the MY06 exhaust changes and it seems that the B pipe was changed.

I have a J's header which i think replaced the stock "b-pipe". I did have to remove a bracket that was holding the cat in place for the header to bolt on properly to the cat. Anyways.. I was planning to get a testpipe and exhaust or a headerback exhaust system (05 fitment). Will this remedy the current my06 problem?

basically.. will a full headerback system with an aftermarket header remedy this my06 fitment problem?

Your piping problem is further downstream in the cat-back section, changing the header or straight pipe does nothing (that's why those parts fit fine for '06).

As I understand it is the section towards the end of the transmission tunnel which is straight on the 06 and bent on an 05, hence an 05 rubs on an 06.

I heard someone running after market dual exhaust off an AP1 on a 06 AP2 and there wasn't any rubbing issue.
