i think the fact that there are less mods for the 06+ helps me try and get out of this modding craze. and most of solid products the ones that the reliability and name you trust are the parts that came out for the 06+
I know it's like a disease.

reflash is $595.

vortech is coming out with a dbw kit that puts ~350whp out on 8psi.

above 300whp you need a clutch.
300-350 is my target. Anything more then that and I think you will need a dedicated tuner.

Thanks everyone for chiming in. I think 06 is the way I'm going.

Who does the reflash? You just send your ECU in?

Correct... U send it into Hondata and when they're done they ship it back to you. From there it's plug and play.

So, one should wait to get their bolt-ons ie.. intake, header, testpipe, exhaust then send in the ECU to Hondata to get it reflashed, or no?

My suggestion is to first dyno the car stock to get the baseline numbers. Put the mods on and get the car dynoed again. Then send in the ECU and have it reflashed and dyno the car with the reflashed ECU to get the results in the step by step process. I know that it would cost a little more due to the three different dynos but you would get facts on the gains you aquire and would help us out as well when you post the results on here as well. That's what I'm gonna do when I get my car supercharged. Dyno it stock and afterwards supercharged. Maybe even get it custom tuned a little more to get to that 400whp magic number.
