I hate FI. I think companies that go FI are either admitting engineering defeat or doing it to make cheap power.

I don't understand why people would FI their S2ks. Honda built this motor to be one of the best production NA motors in the world. 100+ hp per litre with a redline of at least 8k... if they wanted to FI these cars, they wouldn't have gone to such lengths to make such a high-strung motor.

Personally, I'd rather build a 2.4/2.5L stroker than go FI, even if FI does make more power in the top end.

But if you're talking about spending $3-4k for top JDM i/h/e products, you may as well use that money on a blower for better gains.

errr... ok, but when I am making 170hp+ per liter AT THE WHEELS with the same motor, why not? I agree that honda did a great job with this motor so why not take advantage of a NA car that can take boost in stock form. Its a win-win situation the way I look at it. BTW, if you ever drove a turbo s2k you would probably change your mind very quickly.... they are lots of fun.

i like the response, peaky powerband associated with NA hondas. a modded NA car for me is just as much if not more fun to drive. i am sure my everlasting lust for power will have me no doubt boosted. but until then, i love my NA setup.

I totally agree, having come from the turbo world! (previous WRX owner)

I would definitely love to turbo my S, but I want it to be "street legal" when I need it, and that is one of the reasons why I'd pick up the Comptech SC.

That is unless a turbo set up can yield the same result as the Comptech SC, carb wise of course.......

Is there a turbo set up that is carb approved????

I've never been a speed freak. I take much much more enjoyment out of nailing some perfect apexes.

Those are pretty impressive numbers for a F20c. :thumb: What do stock F20c's dyno on a mustang?
