Default Need advice

I went to Honda yesterday for my 22,500 mile service and they changed my oil to 10w-30 non-syn. I have always used 10w-30 fully syn for the past 10k miles and i was wondering if i should go get it changed right now or should i jus drive on it for 3k miles and change it back to synthetic later. Would it do damage to my motor?

It won't damage the motor. You can leave it in there for this one interval. Of course, if you're going to lose sleep over this, then change it. You should have known that the dealer will only put in what is standard procedure for this type of service unless you tell them otherwise. Some dealers won't even do it unless you bring them the fluid you want put in.

They also say that if the car calls for 10-30, always use 10-30. Nope, if my motor's got 200k+ miles, I'm using a 20-50, or at least a 10-40.

Somebody should shoot those old wives .................................................. ....

Unless they're built like Morgan Fairchild, Sela Ward or Linda Evans.
