Default 3rd oil change?

I purchased my car as a Hondacertified last summer (it had 6k on it @ the time). 2 months before Xmas I took it to my local Honda dealer for the 8,500k service. Now it is time again (10,700 miles currently). Should I switch to the Mobile Synthetic 10W30? And whatever else it needs???

If you are going to be changing oil every 3000 miles then IMO there is little need to run synthetic oil. Heck, I change every 5K and think that synthetic is probably overkill (I do use it though). 10K miles is a good time to change over if you want to.

Here is all or more than you probably want to know about lubricants and the S2000: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=195574

you can switch to synth, but changing every 3k will be a waste of money. synth is perfectly capable of protecting beyond 10k miles. Personally I change every 6000-6500 for piece of mind.
