Default Need help - broke solenoid while uninstalling CAI

I broke the air solenoid (the thing you relocate when installing a cold air intake). Is this going to cause problems? I started my engine and everything seems fine (no check engine light). Is it okay if I drive around like this?

I broke one of the nipples that the hose attaches to.

I beleive that is for AC operation so you shouldn't have any problems as long as you don't turn on the air. (May affect your heat as well though)

If you are talking about that big tank thing (big plastic square) I think that is called the Vacuum tank. It cost me like $15 bucks to get a new one and install it. If you broke the little metal peice that is the sensor (screws on to the plastic tank) those are like $130.

I needed a temp solution when I broke my vacuum tank (installing CAI) so I just dremeled it down and superglued the hose in place. It seemed to work find for the two weeks it took to get the part.

So, does that mean the hose is not attachable? If so, I think you will soon get a CEL. It doesn't always happen immediately.
