Good comments, Jimbo. I think I'm going to go with your strategy, and do the extended warranty thing in November, 2004. I'm not prone to buying extended warranties--refuse them for virtually all electronics, and I've never bought an extended warranty for a car before--especially not a Honda or Acura--but the S2K is not your typical car. Having just passed the break-in period, and experienced VTEC, its hard to imagine not having at least $1,000 in repairs over a 7 year/100,000 mile period.
