Smile Need HELP Just got MY04 yesterday

Can anyone help me on this.....?
The driver/window moves up and down, but it won't go all the way down.

I don't want to bring it back to the dealer if I don't have to.

Thanks

If the window won't go all the way down, there is definitely something wrong with it.

You can either remove the door panel and try to fix it yourself or take it back to the dealership.

Take it back to the dealer for repair. They will claim you broke it if they knew you were trying to fix it yourself and couldn't

Good luck!

What's wrong with taking a brand new car, still under factory warranty, to fix a factory defect?

Take it back, make them give you a loaner, and you will only be minorly bothered by it.

If you JUST got the car, they should have NO problems giving you a loaner, even if it's just a used car off of their car lot.

because even MORE damage can be caused while it's in there....from something as minor as a door dings, scratches, dirtying the leather, swirl marks from the car wash (if they even do one), etc to someone backing in to the car

Things like that can drive you crazy. Definitely take it back to your dealer to fix it. I bought my S in the end of august and i noticed that the radio door was broken and couldnt lock at close position. Still waiting for the new part. The worst thing is that my lads with slks and boxters are teasing me all the time for that.
