As it says, my car did not come with the black decal on the windshield hoop/frame. I tried the dealer, but they said it is a piece only on for "shipping purposes" which I know is not true. I need that piece and would like to know how to obtain it.

Any help would be great. The search feature on this webboard is not detailed enough

Talking about the windshield tape? If so good luck. I have not heard any good stories of people being able to re-apply it with much success.

 

go to a sticker or vinyl shop and have them just use their vinyl for you.

They do but its three piece and cost a couple hundred bucks .

Do it with vinyl or just paint it

 

Just buy a hardtop it will look better color matched
