need some advice!
I just biught a Stook from another dealer and have to go get it this afternoon and I have a client that is coming in tomorrow to drive the pre-owned one that I have been advertising. I need some advice concerning driving one in not so perfect weather. It is in the high 20's and snowing very large WET flakes. The ground is wet, wet , wet.
Thanks!
Oh one more thing.... Is there anything that you would have liked the dealer to do when you came to look at ot buy your Stook, other than discounting them.
Or was there something that they did that you were impressed with?
Thanks Again!

- Don't drive it if the snow accumulates on the ground
- Respect the break-in period, keep the revs under 6K
- Show some unusual features of the car like the "secret compartment", how the boot cover goes on, where the oil dipstick is, aeroscreen, etc
- Tell them about some of the accessories available

"Secret Compartment"???
JShy: Open the glove box between the seats...the lid comes down. Then reach up at the top of that compartment. That panel (near the windscreen) lifts up, and there's the secret compartment.

Like any salesman, Show you are knowledgable about the product. Being an owner I'm sure you know a fair bit about the car. If the buyer is a car guy, shoot the shit with him. Explain to him the real world views of the car against what the mags write. The thing that most impressed me when I bought my car was that the salesman didn't bullshit me. He knew very little and didn't pretend otherwise. There is respect garnerd in that action.
