Need some help with water leak

Default Need some help with water leak

Hey guys I have a problem my car is leaking water through the bottom front of the window and it got all over my speaker componments and I think it blew them is this a common problem and has anyone else had this happen to them, how do I fix it.

I'm making an assumption that you mean water comes in when you have the window open. Yes, that's a common problem with many cars, not just the S2000. Don't drive with the window open when it's raining is the solution to that one.

If water is leaking in while the window is closed. Check your weatherstrip and replace as needed. That is NOT a common problem.

Water getting down in the door is commonplace for all cars. I doubt that it blew your speakers, but it can cause corrosion problems over time. The stock speaker basket is designed to prevent this. If yours is damaged an inexpensive replacement is available from crutchfield.com.

And the Internet is this new thing where lots of different people share all kinds of information. I think it might catch on.

Ok Im not an idiot I dont drive with the windows down in the rain here is a picture of what i'm talking about, where it I think it leaks in and what it did to my components.

I don't think he was insulting you. Lots of people drive with the top down in the rain.

You could also re-size those pictures.

Nope. Didn't mean to insult you. The pics are too big. I can't tell what's going on the first one.

That second pics looks like attachment points on a crossover and are badly rusted. Must have been some prolonged exposure going on there. Man, those screw heads look terrible.

ok well sorry I thought you were trying to make me sound dumb or something... the first picture the only important part of the picture is the gap betweek the window and the seal.
