Need some input!
After a year hiatus from the s2k community i have deemed it time to get serious about a new car. I have narrowed my choices down to an MY03 GPW S2K or a 95 or 96 NSX. My dilema here is whether i want to buy the S and do some work to it, or buy the (older) NSX and leave it stock (until i have some $$$$ to spend on it). I love the S2K and really miss my old one, but i have always wanted an NSX. Any suggestions?

I've owned a nsx and now own a s2k... Mods and maintenance on the nsx is really pricey. But then again...if you ask me the nsx or the s2k. I will definately tell you 100% on the nsx. The nsx is a joy to drive and is much more comfortable as well. Plus i prefer Targas more than convertible.
Both cars handles really well, but the s2k seems to have better response. There is a lot less sway, and cornering is a lot tighter as well on a stock nsx.

When the S2000 first came out back in '99, I was also shopping NSXs at the time. However, all the NSXs I could find for about the same price as an S2000 were in rather poor condition. I really liked the NSX but my money was better spent on a brand new S2000. A quality '95-'96 NSX appears to fall in the $30k to $40k range depending on mileage. You can get a brand new '06 S2000 for less than some of those prices. I think you'd get far more smiles per dollar with the S2000.
