need some suggestions from you guys...
Well I am a new owner of an 06 GPW s2k and I love the car. I am debating whether or not I want to strat modding the car. If I do decide to start doing thigns to the car I wanted to know what some of the good products are out there. I am looking for maybe the following things:
Intake (Comptech and AEM are what I have been considering)
Exhaust (Amuse of course but it is so expensive. any other alternatives)
Headers (TODA maybe)
Coilovers (not to sure on this one, i might not even lower the car)
Let me know what you guys think. Also if you guys can think of any other parts that are a good investment let me know.

I dont know if I want to do forced induction. I might later on but right now I am not going to. I am definitely leaning towards the Comptech Intake but there exhaust is crap.

Please take this in the spirit it is intended:
The first mod for your new car should be to improve the performance of the driver. Get to some High Performance Drivers Experience days (HPDE.)
The people in your local regional forum will know where to go, and what to do.
Once you understand the car, you might start to detect things you percieve as weaknesses. Then, and only then, should you change the car to suit your style and need.

other intakes will sound louder but not much power gains
exhaust: good luck finding one that fits that is quiet with little to no cabin drone
Header: pick a brand that you like it's all similar, some are for top end gains, some mid range, some has a little of both
Hondata ECU reflash would be nice if you get a header...
all in all i say keep it simple don't go too crazy
i think the biggest advantage for the S2k is to shed as much weight as possible, power gains are minimal with bolt on parts and since they don't have a turbo or SC kit for the 06 we have limited choices for now.

have fun with it for a while, wait for more parts to be developed for the 06 and then if you have picked up on anything you think the car is lacking in, then go ahead and do someting to correct it. I would say for now though, just have fun with your new car man.
