Mav - something is not right. . . I just spoke to my dealer and they said my Suzuka is in transit and got on the boat last week. . . Yours was suppose to be built 2 weeks before mine. . . I hope they made a mistake and you will get yours before me.

As someone who used to work for a major automotive supplier, I can tell you that scheduled shutdowns do happen (2 per yr - 1wk and 2 wks if memory serves). The automotive world just stops. From the plants, to the suppliers, even the trucking companies . . . It all just stops. If your car had 1 process left when the shutdown whistle blew, unfortunately, it sucks to be you. It's also possible that your car had a problem, went back to be reworked, and then didn't make it back to inspection in time.

Ummm, I know that they close for a couple week period, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't anytime in July...

Well here's an update:

Dealer just called and my car has shipped and arrived at National City Port in San Diego, California! WOOHOO! They estimate arrival around the 18th, plus or minue 3 days.
