Default Neeed Some Input

Whats going on guys! New to this forum, but had some questions. Lately Ive been thinking about buying an S2000. Right now I have a 98 GST Eclipse but Im looking for a more reliable car and just something different. Is there certain year models that are better than others. How does the top hold up being that it is a soft top, I live in Tampa so it rains alot. Any input would be awesome! TIA!!

The general consensus is that you should look for an 02 or newer because that's when they started coming with a glass rear window. Other than that, you will want to do some research and take some test drives to see which year you prefer. 00-03 have a 2L engine and 9000 RPM redline. 04-08 have a 2.2L with 8000 RPM redline. 06-08 also have VSA.

Thanks! I noticed they are single din cd players. Has anyone made a kit for a double din unit?

I haven't seen any dual units. Somebody should chime in to be sure though. Someone custom fit a nav unit similar to how it's done with the Japanese S2000, but that's big money.

I did a search on google and found some Double Din units in some S2000s. Looks like you have to make it out of fiberglass
