New body, old motor

Does anyone have an 04 and up with a f20c in it?

im curious to know as how many people have actually done an engine swap of a f20c into the ap2... along with the cluster gauge mods and whatever else that is needed.

I thought that it wasn't legal to have an older year motor dropped into a newer body?

wouldn't a cheaper route be changing a few exterior pieces (bumper covers, head+tail lights), interior pieces (door panels, center console, etc.) and gauge cluster of an ap1 instead to give it the ap2 look?
