New clutch and still have problems NEED HELP
Hi all, thanks for reading.... I Just got a new cluch, pressure plate, flywheel and bearing installed. it was profetionaly installed and i am still have problems. the clutch grabs really high ( about one inch from top is the difference between engage and disengage). all of the parts that i bought were oem replacement. the other problem that i am having is that when it is in gear and you not pressing the gas on the slow deseleration it wines and is kinda loud. If anyone has any information about this please contact me or respond. it will be greatly apreceated. Twoedge12@aol.com is my email.
adjust the engagement point.
if you get under the dashboard on the driver's side, on the top of the clutch pedal you'll see a nut that's touching a cylinder with a rod that goes through the firewall. loosen the nut and turn the rod clockwise for a shorter engagement point, then retighten the nut and test drive it.
worked for me
except i need to go adjust it because now i think it's too high and i like the way it was before better.
