new gas cap
i was told that i should change my gas cap because of the code i keep getting for the CEL. the person who told me this said that he's seen Hondas get CELs because of bad gas caps, so i should change the gas cap and see what happens. where should i get a new gas cap from and what kind? OEM or is there a good aftermarket one?

some caps have been known to come loose. others will make the click noise when they are not pressed all the way down to create the proper seal, leaving the owner to think everything is ok. a CEL from these two should go away after a few cycles if you tighten the cap, or screw it in correctly.. the only real solution though is a new cap.
There was also a TSB for the filler neck because the threads and neck diameter were known to be slightly out of spec. If this is the problem, a new gas cap won't help you, as you need to replace the neck.
