New Guy Here
I just got a s2k yesterday. i also ran my new s2k into a ditch. I found out the rear tires were bald(it was also raining) and i have never driven a rear wheel drive car. the question is how strong is that rear diff. because that is the main concern i have now.
welcome!
how many miles on the car?
you didnt say what part of the car was hit- did you bottom out?
the undercarriage is strong, but if you hit it- i would take it to the dealer to have it inspected (i would probably want to see it too)

If you are asking how strong the diff is because you hit it and are worried about having damaged it, then you should know that the rear diff is the jacking point for the back end of the car. So, it obviously can take quite of a bit of stress. If you are asking how strong it is in terms of transmitting power, then this has been discussed quite a bit and a search will reveal these answers.

You bought the car and didn't realize it had bald tires? Are you mentally challenged?

You mighta put it in a "gentler" fashion or plug in a "smilie face". "Imprudent" comes to mind.
