I put in an Italian horn that rated for more DBs. Got all the extra wiring done only to find out it wasn't any louder in real life.

Air horn would be the only real improvement.

It's not louder combining multiple horns.

I have a '00; the OEM horn says "3A" on it. It's wimpy. I replaced it with Hella Supertones and it was money well spent.

Are those a plug and play swap for the most part? Or is new wiring needed? Which ones did you go with?

Horns that draw more amps need a relay installed. I've got a 30amp line fused running off the fuse box to support my horn.

I got the griots compact air horns, connected that to one of the OEM spots and left the one in the engine compartment connected.

Those suckers are LOUD I love them! Leaving the one OEM HORN makes for a nice dual tone.

They do require additional wiring with a relay. I tried just using the existing wire without one and it blows the fuse.
