Default New Motor QUESTIONS HELP

Hey you guys i just got a new motor from N1, and i just found out it was a JDM f20c, not a USDM F20C1 like my old one, i was wondering if you guys would used the USDM ECU OR THE ONE THAT CAME WITH THE JDM MOTOR. i have some questions

1. if i put the jdm ecu would it only be KPH or MPH
2. would it matter if i used the USDM ecu on it .
3. would it pass smog with the JDM stuff
4. whats the difference between the JDM and USDM motor
5. i just got a VAFC would you guys used it, where is a good shop to tune it
6. What would you guys do

Do a little search, different markets had different engine codes. It's a little known fact! I can't remember offhand which is which, but OP is right I believe.

I THINK JDM had slightly higher compression, but someone else can confirm.
