new Road & Track issue...
Got the new R&T issue yesterday, not a mention one of the stook times. A few corrections on the Porsche side of things, but no stook corrections. I can't believe they didn't get a single letter. Oh well, even if their car did do the sprint in 4.9, most stooks do it in 5.2 so what's the big deal? It is curious though that they did not print the new times in the Index at the back, they still have the old ones.
Since the issues are done several months in advance, letters regarding the January issue probably won't appear in the magazine until the April issue. If you look at the letters in the February issue, they refer to the November issue.

look in the back and see if in the "road test digest" they list the 4.9 seconds to sixty (i bet not).?
They made a freaking typo!!!!!!!!!
in the sports GT version they completely screwed up the M3's times, but fixed it in the Feb issue.
Mistakes do happen.

While I don't buy the 4.9 time stranger things have happened. Do you really believe that a variety of cars, drivers, and conditions will net the same result? My '93 Honda CBR F3 consistently posted documented times that where better then all the magazines of the era posted. Maybe there is a freak stook out there that's a 4.9 vehicle (like my F3)......I just wish it were mine!
