I am sure the engine can deal with lots of Vtec time - if not constant, track-like Vtec time. The points about knowing whether proper maintenance has been accomplished are good ones. Anyway, I think the point about rear glass is a good one and given the small dif between used 2000/01 and used/new 2002 prices is makes abundant sense to enter the exciting S2K world with the latest model.
