The other fell off in the wind. The superglue held great, and part of the bumber was left, glued in place.

Are you a Daily Driver? I do about 70m per day. I was wondering if this is why your have lasted, and mine have not. Or was my installation flawed.

Yes, mine is a daily driver - 4 seasons in fact, so the bumpers have gone through -35*C temps. When I installed my bumpers, I placed the bumpers at the spot where it just touched the windscreen base and then I pushed it back about another 1/8" so there was always a bit of pressure on the bumper. This made it such that the screen didn't have a chance to buffet back and forth. The top bumpers also reduces the amount of pressure on the bottom bumpers.

Rick,

Thanks, I will make do with your screen. I was wondering, is the tint on it just added to the outside, or is that the actual color of the glass.

I am asking because I saw a mod where someone rigged the logo to light up. If all of the glass is tinted, then the light can't travel through the glass.

I hope you understand the question...

It's the color of the plastic.

Rick,

Got my windscreen yesterday. Install went fine and looks pretty good. Package came with 4 dome bumpers and 2 thin black rubber strips. Are those thin rubber strips the bumper strips you show above? If so they look pretty thin compared to the ones shown in pic above unless the view is somewhat skewed. Are they the same thing? If they are the ones pictured above I think they should be thicker. I ended up using dome bumpers instead since they seemed better at "holding back" windscreen.
